In Response to~ Poetry Picnic~Thursday Poets Rally~Week~57~Misunderstandings

Thank You Thursday Poets Rally for The Perfect Poet Award Week 57

I nominate Poet Emmet Wheatfall

Misunderstandings occur and
shatter thoughts
unreasonable expectations grow secretly;
a shy smile, a soft giggle, a quick glance
unintentional false hopes build freely;
evil dances around perpetually
colorful flashes engulfed in  sweet auras
mask truth ,
deception abounds continually
Helpless helpless more and more
I descend
 stony emotions overtake gradually;

this makes me think of jealousy, rage, fear and even maybe paranoia. all things I have been through, as we all have been through as human beings. i love the rawness of the piece. really great pen. happy rallying!

deep, interior piece painting a picture of a persona in turmoil at a moment of awareness.

cool piece.

The word seemingly obscured in this piece that is at the center of the situation described is "deception". Love of any kind cannot bear it. Very nice write! Well done!
Our poems hold some similarity this week: http://charleslmashburn.wordpress.com/2011/12/14/a-thousand-candles/

Congrats on the award. This is a sad state but I can understand how misunderstanding can deceived and destroy the heart ~

Ah!! nice one... ur words reminded me of the recent post I wrote on expectations...everything seemed to seep into this poem of urs. What a relationship comes to be when words too fall short..and then we have a mis-understanding!
Sharing with u the link, in case u'd like to read:)

I love the way you have captured fleeting responses to another individual - the way the mind-spirit connection works.
