Light ~ Waiting for The Light~

When darkness suddenly descends
this light keeps the spirits alight
with hope courage and sight

In the middle of the night
when the heart and mind fight
the oblivious battle of might
ideas great and thoughts
of intellectual height
when the Pen keeps tight
words of wisdom prayer
Truth and The Right'
when not enough is the fading twilight
nor even the full moon light
when faint rustling is heard of the samite
and blocked are the letters of the playwright
when it does matter` the black or white'

Then I think of  The Eternal,  Finite,
The Great Rhetoric, The Disunite'
Who suffered, the Krait's bite?
never thought of the ensuing plight
and Fell from Heaven to Earthy site
Have we lost all the spessartite?

Will there come,
the perfect gallant knight
to pierce straight through in flight
pulling away the murky pall
Cleansing the shame of The Fall
restoring peace and love outright.

Jingle Poetry at Olive Garden~Poetry-Picnic-Week-30-Doubts-Fears~ Why Growing Fears are Bringing Tears ~

Why Growing Fears are Bringing Tears
Falling tears
Now streaming down the pale cheeks,
Now drying the lashes –
Seeming shocked spears;
Laughter and smiles
Suddenly stopping for miles
Just sounds of sirens and screams-
Shattered are the dreams;
What life is to be?
To be or not to  be?
Murder most foul in Kingdoms
Or in my very own country-
Flee Flee Flee Homo Fugee-
OH Dear I am a Born Refugee
Where do I take refuge
with blasts occurring so huge
Bloody bodies scattering like sedge

Far and wide from edge to edge
And I with growing fears
Of what will be the end of Years?
War terror killing is All One hears;
Who are they?  The Taliban?
What people what religion what clan?
Growing Fears for Our Children
Families and Brethren
We want Peace Love Life not Tears
Peace like the Greeks, Peace o
f Holy Life

No road blocks curfews blackouts and bans-
Oh Lord Illumine brightly what is deep and dark
Forgive us and save us from this
Hideous ruin rummage Abyss
Bring calm to my growing fears
All is not Lost we can still stop
The warfare-  with talk justice and prayer.

~ Neglected Load Carrier ~

Lately I have been thinking
about the precious one
load carrier for everyone
how it is laughed at
and mocked and made fun
of, pushed and shooed away;

how they starve
how they trod
how they pull
whether its a kilo
or whether its a ton;

Lately I have been thinking
of those in Texas
going astray
seeking food
in hungry mood
they wander around
parched, they bray

I am now thinking if I had a farm
I would bring them all here
feed them and keep them warm
they are free to roam chew the food
left and thrown everywhere
they can bray and plod and hob
they will be busy
and not out of a job

Poem in Response to Brenda's Wordle~48~Carried By The Unseen Hand~

Inherent in mankind
Ranks of status
drives of excellence
Qualities classic of
song  drama and dance.

Proven by sources previous
In celestial spheres
in jewels universal
in spaces eternal
Carried by The Unseen Hand!

To gardens glorious of
olives figs and grapes beyond
limits of unimaginable beauty
and sweetness enhanced
with no lurking fer-de-lance!

No less Grace on Earth, bestowed,
Delivered with Love,gestured and
touched for Faith , followed in grandeur
through hallways elegantly aglow!
Yet, Alas, why for Truthful belief
Mankind is found in grave doubt
uncertain, deceptive and slow'

Poem in Response to~ JP AT Olive Garden Poetry Picnic Week~27~ Longing to Go on a Long Overdue Vacation~

THANK YOU  for The Wonderful Award~
Thursday Poets Rally at Hyde Park, Chicago, London, and New York City

Long Overdue Vacation

A glimpse of vernation on the
Majestic Mountains of Kashmir
Lost beauty in migration
years of frustration,natives
enchained, free foreign visitations.
Forever under dictation,yeationt
Hopes alive for salvation
Longing to go on a Long overdue Vacation!
Should it be Prague, the historical pearl
of Europe or Literary Lovely Denmark?
Still quite puzzled on selecting the destination'
confinedsubjugation,enough affectation
depressing deprivation, meaningless preoccupation
Time for a disassociated retaliation
Ah Longing to go on a Long overdue Vacation'
Oh! Forget electricity failures, fluctuation
Ignore haunting frightening invultuation
'Let's quickly decide and finalize the location
Before it's too difficult, too late, too dark
It should be without any doubt'

Poem in Response 6~Listen,Go and Sin No More'~.

If Love and peace would prevail
in this world full of beating hearts
warm feelings filling the eyes
with tenderness pouring from the skies
who would ever think of committing
a sin,
not one nor two nor seven,
All would be in
for Heaven
The Earth grows green gold
sweet honey abounds
even if we eat it all still
there is more and more
till the winter and the Fall
So let not anger envy or pride
make us greedy slow and hide
all good behind lust
for dust we are and
shall return to dust
So all these sins seven
can be conquered by eleven
Let us remember
That which  will raise our score
The Laws of The Almighty,
Words of Our Dear Lord-
'Listen, Pray, Go and sin no more'

Thursday-Poets-Rally-Week-62-Perfect Poet Award~When Blessed By Freedom~

Thank You, Hyde Park Poetry,
Thursday Poets Rally for this Wonderful Surprise Award

When Blessed By Freedom
I am beside you once again
Now be it sun storm or rain,
Sorrow and fear are afar,
Happiness floods me gone is the pain
Of loneliness, peaceful is the soul;
With chains of captivity broken at last
How wonderful and precious it feels
The sweet breath of freedom;
Home again, among love and care
Ah! Home is something very rare!
In Gratitude
I bow down low,
Bless me OH Lord! to You I pray,
Give me courage to defend my land
If need arises-any day.

Poem in Response to Brenda's Wordle ~45~ Heed Not The Drowsy Murmur~

Half covered, half numb, their senses cemented
shaking revealing rhythming away the darkness
amid subdued lights,
drinks drugs and dance,never cumbersome
straying attraction  entranced
love of all love controls the sights.

It is better to rest to sleep to pray
It is better to thank to weep, to stay
Awake!

Heed not the drowsy murmur of the bees
Be not lost in the  honeyed ease
Come find your way on the map
hold it firm on your lap
Time...there is not much water
in the tap...
Birds of Mecca pelted pebbles
from the sky
Reluctant are only the disbelievers
Loss is for the 'all deceivers'

Prayer is better than sleep
Prayer is better than sleep

We all know about the flowers and fire
We all know how to heaven the good went
We know of locusts blood and the flood
But Beware of the dense visible smoke'
Which will be sent forth from the sky'
A painful torment from up high...

It is better to cover to help to give
Stay alive, for 'others', we need to live'

Love Trees and Be Wise

Trees have grown green and tall
Whether in winter or in Fall
Trees have given shade
in heat cold and made shadows
for weary walkers, tired talkers silent stalkers,
 ere they may go 'Right'
Trees like the Oak have shown 'integrity
like so many have proven Truth and purity
Trees have been the house of Nature
for enlightenment and wisdom-
Let us Love Trees and Be Wise

Poem in Response to ~ Brenda's Wordle 44~ 'Not Just to Whisper but to ~

I, desperately need my Muse
'not just to whisper, but to whistle and
blow loud and clear
to unhook the verbal straps
to ease the spiritual restlessness
to restore the temporal and celestial balance
to scorch away diablerie ghosts
nestling secretly in smudgy shadowy corners
seeping into the sleeping literary sores
causing bizarre blisters burning away
cognitive energies
Oh Muse! I know You will
not desert me'
I wait for You to illumine
what in me became dark
Please restore the effulgence'

The Sky is Never Engaged

The sky is never engaged
in battle not does it itself
cause a rattle
its blue for visions
of light and dark
for the secret nights;
The sky is never engaged
but shines in gold
the angry clouds enraged
make it overcast and cold
The sky is never engaged
in war nor bombs it hurls
but sprinkles the darkness
with stars and shiny pearls.

In Response to Gooseberry Garden Poetry Picnic Week~ 25 ~To War-or Not To War

A war so far a war on a star,
A war on sand a war on land
Detonating deafening deadening
Defending destructing defying Death;
War on Terror, war by error?
War for the spoils, war for the Oil?
War on the Young, war by the Young,
   Hopeless, groundless, Timeless war;
A war by the armed, on the unarmed
A War by the strong, on the weak throng
A War by Dress  A War of stress
A War of Mess by the Thoughtless;
    War against Fire
War to spend. War to an end
  War against Age War by Rage;
A War on a stage  A War in a cage
A War of words
A War with swords

What Man is warring in or warring out?
    Laying hiding killing mines,
Building and crushing walls and bridges,
    Filling moats or filling ditches,
I have heard cries of Enchained spirits
Bodies writhing torn raped, illicit,

NO MORE WAR is the call, PEACE is the Vision
NO MORE Destroying, desecrating devastating
A War within a War
Senseless, fenceless, meaningless,
Time to End Deifying WAR;
Time to End Unjust War.

~Nature Takes Care~

For days and months
 I  sit and watch
for hours on end
 receive with happiness
what Nature does send
 birds on the trees
singing with the breeze
or silently praying
while I shivered and sneezed
but again the clouds would stay
and I would know the rain will pray
take away the sadness and the pain
and then let the sun shine
all the way
Life is in the clouds
in the skies
if we turn our eyes
and hearts and listen
we would know
there's no one else
no place to go
Nature is The One
The Truth
I Share
Nature loves
Nature Takes Care

In Response to Bluebellbooks, Short-Story-Slam-Week-19~ The Growth of Life~

Branches bare yet full of care shelter and love
Blessings from above, I see The Light, so bright
cannot raise my eyes, The Heart Red with Pure Blood
The Raised Hand and comforting smile
so near my spirit that it cries,
with gratitude and prayer, a miracle for me,so rare;
its not a dark empty growth, apparently
symbolizing dearth of Hope,
fullness of hunger solitude and strife
but a growth evergreen as birds approach
and sing delighted, at the crimson décor
it is a sign of Justice Purity and Life
From The Chosen to The Chosen
who bows and must bend, and who prays
Blessed under The Tree of Life, stays
This is Faith,This is The End
This is The Real Christmas, always.

Grateful To The Most Gracious

Raindrops made the day
moist and soft
the dust smelt sweet
as the drops merged and seeped
and I with Nature felt one
though the clouds covered the sun
Lost in time as came the Call
Allah sent His Blessings, All
No Asking, just praying
Outside it was cold
the car was warm
the drive, silent
a drive in the rain
there was no pain
Mercy Showered with
Rainy Showers
OH People Be With,Pray to
Praise None but,
The Supreme Powers

Love Abounds in Him
for His Own
He shows and has shown

In Response to~Gooseberrygoespoetic.~Poetry-Picnic-week-21-childrens-stories~The Miniature Teachers

Perceive the ants
Toiling hard
Constantly collecting countless
Grains inside the Earth
Crawling in line,
Oblivious of time
Fearless of being crushed
Treading unawares,
Little creatures greatly great.
Presenting a lesson
Of unity and discipline.
Engrossed in their work,
duty they do not shirk.
If so little an insect
Can be so perfect,
I regret so say, that man
Has still a lot to learn To earn,
to live,
 to give and grant
To work and work like...
The little Great Ants.

In Response to~Poets Rally Week 59 Perfect Poet Award~ Amidst Faith and Fear ~

Dear All at  Poets Rally
Thank you very much for the Perfect Poet Award Week 59-Deeply Grateful for this Recognition
 I nominate: Poet- Shoeless

Year after year
amid faith and fear
moments of loneliness
have been
have seen
time roll on
like I see the sun
go down like yesterday
I watch and pray
'Oh Please don't play
nor hide behind the trees
but its OK for I feel
the breeze
You have to go
and come again
with bright sunshine
not with pain
and I say 'day after day'
where is my loneliness?
It was a thought
as I foolishly sought
someone never to come
I know now, its not anyone
but the Light and the Sun.'
It has come
It will come'
