How Allah Answers -Personal Life Incidents

In the afternoon, trying to beat the heat, I sat in front of the open terrace door, straining to catch a passing whiff of cool air. I had to finish the Chapter of the Holy Book before the hour. Right in front I could see the pink and purple blossoms gently swaying from time to time, telling me that Nature had created enough air for all to breathe. It is so strange that we are unable to see the Creator's Blessings abounding all around.

While I was trying to read I was also conscious of the flowers, the trees and a cry or two of the afternoon black birds. How close is Nature'
and how far we keep drifting...

My heart and soul urged me to stop reading and 'offer a prayer of gratitude' I did, but then I found myself saying 'Oh Lord if You have heard me though I know You have for You are the All Knowing ...perhaps You may give a sign .

..Do you realize what you are saying for a moment the mind stopped me' but I continued ...perhaps the flowers that I see on the trees will come inside....
Hey who do you think you are?
And so I finished the Chapter and shut the door as it was growing dark and the electricity had  been restored.

Next morning when I went in the lounge I saw a beautiful bouquet of pink and white flowers. My husband had gone to meet his younger brother a very senior officer of a local bank.It was a dinner meeting with other officers. On the way back my brother in law gave the bouquet 'Here take this home' for I will be leaving by the first flight tomorrow'

I knew then who had sent the flowers inside. A miracle only I knew.
(The trees outside our house have pink and purple flowers while the creeper that grows on the neighbours wall grows 'white ones')

The Other Nest - Silent

Groups of birds twittered chirped and flew to and fro from the tree. Purple flower and green leaves laden limbs hid all from view as colors blinded the sight.

What excited dialogue took place in the foliage? what glad tidings announced brought the tiny tender  tweets?
Profound joy can fill invisible spaces, creating laughter in the thin fragmented growth making the designed pieces quiver is the constant miracle all around us.

While the flowers bloom, the colors shine, the green glows, the winged inhabitants move fly and flutter with life, spreading the love where they descend and perch.

Finding bits to satisfy the unfelt hunger pangs, a pinch of a morsel becomes a feast.

Rising with the dawn, twig by twig twining a home, sensing the approaching moments high in the sky knowing that soon darkness will enfold they quieten...

One by one the flowers wither, the colours change, the greens turn to golden brown, shrink and begin to leave home ~
nature  seems innocently stripped, bare and stiff.

Life is stilled.No birds sing.
I discovered a nest.It was empty, silent, yet strong. It was not alone.
A few branches below there was a smaller one.

We feel lonely but we are never alone.

The Hidden Loving Spirit is always close.

3   Divine Justice ...

Memories of  many firm and stern lessons at home flash back often ever since I became aware of Life and Existence'
simple rules like' be kind to...be careful-its not good to fight' -little realising what  a 'fight' was till one concept dawned that it was' two hordes of people on foot and many on elephants, who came face to face and started hitting each other. The elephants were supposed to pull heavy guns also but they hardly managed to go far and stuck in the mud and slush due to rain...and thus many' fights were lost' This was in the Indo Pak sub continent somewhere in the 1500- or 1600...but 'fights were on going, small and great' and still are with severe losses as 'fights' too have taken innovative styles' and designs'

but my story revolves around 'giving' being generous' and kind' though I was too young to understand...till...much later in life. There is a Power Supreme Unseen yet manifest everywhere, who is The Real Giver' and whatever you give to others comes back to you...

this may sound silly but I wish to share a recent incident...as the weather grew colder I took out my long summer time closed small bag of socks, wrist and elbow supports and some crepe bandages. An old elbow injury always gets me in the winter season and this year winter is much more severe than the past two years...I saw that I had more than I would really need so I decided to give one pair to my 'part time helper maid'...Two days later I saw her again without the socks'what happened worn out already?
No Baji my husband...I gave them to him...he goes so early in the cold and...
'well, dont you go out early?
'Now , here I will give you another now dont give this away to anyone..
and handing her the pair I turned around to pick up the phone which had started to ring as I was handing her the socks...
It was my daughter packing up to come home for the holidays with the kids to stay for a few days
'Mom I found some nice comfortable socks in the 'markaz market ' and I got two pairs for you-they are just the right material ...and we shall be a bit late..so see you soon Insha Allah and I ...just managed to say'' OK Dear' and ....
well, This is The promise..if we may pay attention ...and be able to understand life and humanity better...may we be guided....rightly....
I got the pair of socks back before the second one actually left the house....

and there are more stories for 'Oh Horatio where are you?

It is quite amazing how Allah helps us in ways we can't imagine. Often we understand His ways indirectly but its sometimes too late. I wonder how a person can learn to earn His pleasure? Life would be so beautiful then. I really like the way you write poetry. I recently started writing short poems( which don't always rhyme :)) during the pandemic but I wonder how I can make my words feel more real?
