For POETS and STORY TELLERS UNITED ~ Weekly Scribblings #1 ~ The Earth is Alive ~
The Earth is alive below shaking disturbed cracking
still-yet in revolution,moaning rumbling protesting
O pale moon, bear witness
O sometimes silent sometimes chirping birds
take notes to the skies, fly as nature holds the
wings-from darkness to dawn.
Speak not of the blood
that flows like rivers from wounds
that oozes from cruel cuts by sticks and pellets
that drops from splinters showered by blasts
that is visible on clothes tattered and shrouds
O moon see the other side and send
a sign of peace
a bird of song
a light of love
Find, find a harbinger of truth justice and salvation.
The Earth is alive below, yearning to heal -
hoping, anticipating,
Words chosen: darkness, blood, harbinger

This is incredibly evocative!💝 I especially like; "O sometimes silent sometimes chirping birds take notes to the skies, fly as nature holds the wings-from darkness to dawn." The earth shall no doubt heal itself. Thank you so much for writing to the prompt!😘

This is dark yet hopeful at the same time.
Oh yes the earth is yearning to heal Beautiful I especially love "fly as nature holds the

Dear Friends Rosemary Helen Jenna Marja and Purpleinportland. Your visit and comments are highly appreciated.
I like the way you have the earth answer to the moon in more ways than we can fathom. Namely we see the tides and a fairly predictable night light. I am not quite who is. Zlling the moon for assistance.

I love that after the violence of revolution, after the painful moaning, the earth still years and hopes and expects better things.
